BY CAR (Do not use MapQuest)
From Toronto (2 hours northeast):
Take 401 East to exit for 115/35 (Peterborough). Continue on 115 until it merges onto Highway 7 East. Do not exit at highway 7A or 7 West. Follow highway 7 East towards Norwood and turn left at the lights at County Road 38 (Indian River Reptile Zoo). If you find yourself in the town of Norwood, you’ve gone too far east.
Once on County Road 38, travel north to the stop sign (County Road 8/Webster Road), turn right and continue to the 6th Line Road (4 intersections). When CR 8 veers to the right at the 5th Line, keep going straight until you reach the next road, which is the 6th Line. Turn left, watch for #499, a black mailbox and the Thirteen Moons sign in the tree. We are the 3rd driveway on the right.
From Ottawa (3 hours west):
Take Highway 417 West to highway 7 exit. Once you get into the town of Norwood, turn right at the lights (County Road 40). Drive north out of town. Turn left at the second intersection (Webster Road) and follow it to the 6th Line. Turn right at the 6th Line.
From Montreal (2 hours northwest of Kingston):
Take 401 West, exit at highway 62 (Belleville/Madoc), continue North to Highway 7. Turn left to head west towards Peterborough. Once you get into the town of Norwood, turn right at the lights (County Road 40). Drive north out of town pass county road 8. Turn left at the next intersection (Webster Road) and follow it to the 6th Line. Turn right.
Once you’re on the 6th Line Road north of Webster, Thirteen Moons is the third driveway on the right, #499 6th Line Road. There’s a sign on the tree to the left of the driveway. If you cross the creek and the limestone farmhouse on the left, you’ve passed our driveway
Closest airport is Toronto Pearson. To get here, you can rent a car at the airport or arrange for the airport shuttle service to Peterborough or directly here by making reservations with Century Airline Services 1-800-465-5987. Taxi service also available from the Century office in Peterborough 1-888-271-8613.
GO Transit offers regular service to Peterborough using a combo of GO train service to Oshawa that connects with a GO bus to Peterborough. Visit www.gotransit.com or call 1-888-GET ON GO (438-6646).
Greyhound Bus also has daily service to Peterborough. Visit www.greyhound.ca or call 1-800-661-8747 for fare and schedule information. The closest Via Rail station is in Cobourg.
