Drum Making Workshop – FULL
For many cultures and for thousands of centuries the drum has been used in various rituals, ceremonies, celebrations, meditation and healing, a rite of passage for some. The process of making a drum is an amazing journey that will open your heart and connect you to the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
All that you need to make your drum will be provided on the first day of our gathering. You will leave with your very own drum creation and a knowing that something has been altered in your life.
Then we will gather once again on March 7th to awaken your drum and share our ancestral stories, food and exchange heart gifts. It will then be time to drum and sing in celebration.
More details upon registration. Space is limited. Fee includes lunch and snacks on the workshop date and participation in the drum awakening ceremony.

Hi Louise
Happy New Year. Your newsletter was so exciting!! Made me feel energetic. I am unable to come to full moon drumming for a lot of reasons. I would still like to come to the drum awaking ceremonies. Please let me know when they are. I hope to bring Meridian to make her drum sometime this year. I would like to do it in warm weather. I will watch for dates. In the end she may not feel ready. If I ask her she wants to and then closer to the time something comes up. I want to make sure she is committed.
Did you make a new calendar? Sorry I missed it if you did and still have copies I would like to order them.
I’m presently reading a book about a fella who is losing his brain function- or so he thinks. I know that this is beginning to happen to me. I like to feel safe in my own home. I think that getting my cataracts off, sometime in the summer will help me be more adventuresome.
As always say hello to all that know me. I will never forget the love and peace that flows from you and Thirteen Moons.

Hello,
I have just read about this event on facebook and I am curious to know where it takes place. I am a disabled person and I should not do steps. Walking on uneven ground is a challenge for me. I am wondering if I could take this class.
Please let me know more about it.
Thank you in advance,
Linda Ervin
hi Linda, they are held here where there are a couple of steps to enter the building and one step to go from the workshop space to the dining room and restroom. It’s just a short walk from the parking to the building entrance. Let me know if you think this might work for you or you have any other questions. Louise
